Some leaders in Lansing are calling this a “Corporate Tax Increase”– saying it only applies to big corporations.
But in Michigan, most small businesses are filed as C-Corps. And 87 percent of C-Corps have less than 100 employees.
Small businesses fuel Michigan’s economy and provide jobs for nearly half the residents of our great state. Increasing their tax burden will hurt our communities and raise costs for all of us.
